So it's the day after Thanksgiving. . .and you have all of those left overs. You know you hate left overs, but have no fear, this will make you love them! My husband has been wanting to make a Thanksgiving pizza for years and this year we did it!
He suggested that we use the crescent rolls as the crust, and that sounded fantastic! So I used two packaged of crescent rolls and rolled them into what I thought looked like the perfect pizza ;)! Then we added some seasonings to the crust (butter, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning) and then as the "sauce" we used the giblet gravy.
Once we had that laid down we added stuffing and turkey in pieces spread throughout. After that looked perfect we added the mashed potatoes, we thought with these on top the turkey wouldn't dry out ,and we were right! After we had that all on there there had to be another garnish, what could it be? Of course the dried onions! We added those on top, they crunched up very nicely. We placed it in a preheated oven at 375F for about 20 minutes. Once we got it out it looked scrumptious! The first bite we looked at each other and knew we had to share this with the world! Hope you all enjoy!
